What is the verification process for Sneakers?

Prime Hype Shoes has industry experts that specialize in spotting fakes. We also check for signs of wear and make sure it meets strict criteria.

Once a product arrives at our offices from the seller, our verification team looks at every single product. No exceptions.

They review every product to make sure they are legit and are also in deadstock condition. Once confirmed, the product will get sent to the buyer. If we determine a product is fake or used, we will refund the buyer, send the item back to the seller and if necessary, take action against the seller to remove them from StockX.

Does the original box come with the sneakers?

We currently require all sneakers sold on StockX to be authentic, deadstock, and come in the original box. Most of our users are sneaker collectors and expect a certain quality when receiving the box the deadstock sneaker arrives in.

We do allow the original box to be slightly damaged, such as minor dents. We do not allow rips in the box. The box does need the lid.

Slight damage to the box consists of minor dents. We do NOT allow boxes with major rips or tears.

What exactly are deadstock sneakers?

“Deadstock” is a term that can be used to describe a “Like New” pair of sneakers. Meaning they are unworn and complete with original box including box lid, as would be acceptable for sale at a retail location. Deadstock sneakers are 100% authentic. Deadstock sneakers also may or may not include additional accessories (such as laces) that were included in the original packaging at purchase, unless noted otherwise. We also do not accept B-grades at this time.

As with sneakers sold at retail, some pairs will pass “Deadstock” inspection despite being unlaced, tried on for fitment, and/or slight manufacturer flaws and imperfections that are uncontrollable. In addition, all “Deadstock” sneakers should include the original box, which may have encountered minimal damage from shipping, discoloration from storage and/or any normal wear and tear due to aging.

Be aware “Deadstock” sneakers can include signs of aging when it comes to older pairs, including slight yellowing and should be worn at your own risk. “Deadstock” sneakers that are over 5 years old, when worn, may experience structural weakness and a lack of durability.

Do you accept returns?

We Accept returns/cancellations for all products within 30 days of purchase. Buyer pays return shipping and the product must be returned with original tags. Returns will NOT be accepted if the authentication tag has been removed.
